Jason Taylor Goes From ABC to PPV
When ABC’s Dancing With The Stars ends the current “season” on Tuesday night, it will be the end of the Miami Dolphins’ Pro Bowler Jason Taylor. Um. The end of Jason Taylor’s career as a dancer on ABC’s DWTS.
Like others before him, though, Taylor and his agent must certainly be trying to figure out how to parlay his time on DWTS into new gigs, endorsements, ….
Our idea is that Taylor’s agent should organize a Pay-Per-View series with three sets of “events”:
(1) Sort of like NASCAR’s various attempts to sell PPV coverage of its races by focusing on the race from the perspective of individual drivers… we’re confident that there would be lots of interest if it were possible to watch — and listen, uncensored — to each of the Dolphins’ games this coming year through a camera — and microphone — attached to Taylor’s helmet.
If the NFL were to let this happen… we trust that it would create tremendous impacts on the English language since it would introduce the Pay-Per-Viewing public — and the people who read their blogs — to all kinds of insults that we can’t even imagine.
(2) Next to a shoulder’s-eye view of the games this season, we trust that there’d be almost as much interest (or more) in witnessing the first sit-down that Taylor has with new Dolphins executive Bill Parcells.
If, that is, Parcells were to actually agree to talk with Taylor… and then agree to let the conversation be a PPV event… we assume that there would be a Vegas line created for degenerates to bet on the number of times that Parcells says “no disrespect, Jason, but…”.
(3) Even though it’s the next event to happen chronologically, we’d expect that some would pay to view “the car ride home” after the final DWTS show to see how Mr. T. manages to explain the sense, at least, that he implied that he’s enjoying the company of women (or at least his dance partner) on the show.
In fact, we were surprised during the last episode to learn that JT is married with children since he seemed to be flirty once in a while… maybe as a way to combat any questions about “flamboyance.”
Anyhow, if Mrs. Jason Taylor were to allow this to happen, we… wonder what would happen.
In the meantime, we’ll start figuring out ways for Olympic skater — and future DWTS champ — Kristi Yamaguchi to leverage her newly-refreshed fame. Her agent is welcome to contact us for thoughts.
